Hi, Morgan here.
I am a gender non-binary, queer, licensed independent clinical social worker. I value connection, community, humor, and the dignity and worth of all human beings. I am committed to being a life-long learner and work to continuously develop and adapt the ever-evolving craft of psychotherapy through consult, continuing education, teaching social work in higher education, and deeply listening to the experiences of those around me. As a white-bodied provider, I am accountable to the ways in which I have profited from the wisdom, culture, and teachings of Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Asian and other people of color. My accountability is through daily intention and practice in using my privilege to challenge systems of oppression and be an accomplice in the fight against social injustice.
I want to empower the clients I work with to find what works best for you. Please explore the menus below for more information on me, my services, and my rates. I currently do not accept insurance, but I do offer limited spots for clients who could benefit from a sliding scale fee. If you are interested in scheduling an initial consult or learning more, please reach out to my email, morgananderson.licsw@gmail.com, or call 651-337-9310 to see if what I offer is right for you.

I have a relational, strengths-based approach to the therapeutic process; I trust in the expertise and lived experiences of every person I meet as more often than not, they already possess coping strategies that have helped them survive unthinkable events, manage unimaginable stress, and still maintain resilience. I believe that all people, regardless of their age, diagnoses, or experiences, are the ultimate expert in achieving and maintaining their wellbeing. I often integrate nature, creative arts, somatic experiencing, and body movement in my work as I firmly believe in our mind-body connection.
I aim to be a temporary support tool and walk alongside my clients in this journey. I prioritize your sense of safety in sessions, cater my approach to what is needed each meeting for each unique individual, and aim to leave you feeling empowered in your understanding and management of your mental health.
